Brad Martin is the Founder, President & CEO of Kratos Building Products Inc, a manufacturer and distributor of steel products used in residential and commercial construction. Kratos manufactures steel wire products and fasteners in Mexico, imports the same products from dozens of mills across the globe and distributes those products along with rebar and remesh from strategic domestic suppliers across North America. Before devoting his work fulltime to Kratos, Brad served as Vice-President at PrimeSource Building Products, overseeing multiple business units that generated over $400 million dollars in revenues yearly through distribution and mill direct sales of fasteners, concrete accessories, wire products, rebar and remesh. He has over 25 years of experience manufacturing, sourcing, sales, sales management, P&L management and entrepreneurial business development in the steel construction products industry.

Dr. Danielle Kleinhans

President and Chief Executive Officer / Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI)

In November of 2017, Danielle Kleinhans joined the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI) as its 12th President and Chief Executive Officer. She sets the strategy, serves as a steward for the Institute through future advancements and directs the execution of daily operations. With more than a decade of experience in structural engineering and bridge design and consulting, Danielle began at CRSI as a staff structural/bridge engineer in 2011 before assuming the Managing Director role of the Epoxy Interest Group (EIG) in 2015. Danielle began her career at Modjeski and Masters, Inc. and has held positions at the National Steel Bridge Alliance (NSBA) and the CTL Group; She received her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, and her master’s degree and PhD in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. She is a licensed professional engineer and a fellow of the American Concrete Institute.

Michael Uhrich

Economist / Former American Iron and Steel Institute Chief Economist

Michael Uhrich is an accomplished economist and econometrician with more than 16 years experience advising businesses on their most challenging questions. Most recently, Michael served as chief economist at the American Iron and Steel Institute, where he analyzed the impacts of economic and policy conditions on the American steel industry and its end-use markets, led development of the association's American steel demand forecast and collaborated with allied associations from around the world to produce global steel demand projections. Michael also provided data and analytical support to AISI’s public policy work with organizations like the OECD, EPA, USTR, DOC, and many others. Prior to joining AISI, Michael served as the chief economist at the Beer Institute, the trade association that supports American brewers and beer importers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he advised various clients, both public and private, on myriad topics, ranging from beer pricing to air traffic controller staffing.

The Global Steel Sourcing Director / The Heico Companies

Patricio Pimentel is the global steel sourcing director for The Heico Companies, focused on the Heico Metals Processing Group (Heico MPG), which operates ten production facilities across three key segments: steel wire products, steel fasteners, and wire rod products. In this role, he is responsible for the overall strategic steel supply for the Heico MPG facilities across North America and for developing business growth opportunities with partners both international and domestic. He has over 20 years’ experience of steel trading, sourcing, intracompany sales and structural steel export distribution in the flat, long, and pipe steel product segments in the US, Mexico and Latin America. Patricio Pimentel has an MBA from the University of Texas and an MS in global energy management from the University of Houston.
