Anil has worked in renewable energy and environmental markets since 2001, holding roles at ABB and Alstom-GE before becoming Energy Country Segment Director at Securitas. She has also served as an energy consultant, board member, investor, and shareholder, contributing to over 6,000 MW of renewable projects across Türkiye, the USA, and Europe. Since joining Redshaw Advisors in London in 2019, she has expanded the firm’s renewable energy division, supporting businesses worldwide in their green transitions and advising Turkish companies on carbon markets, CBAM, and the UK & EU ETS.
Ayça Özbay currently serves as a Global Ferrous Scrap Market Analyst, specializing in international scrap market dynamics across the United States, Europe, Turkey, and Asia. She graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul University and began her career with the Corporate Clients Team at Turkcell. In 2012, she joined SteelOrbis as a Content Specialist and has been working as an analyst since 2020. In her current role, she monitors global ferrous scrap trends, produces market analyses and forecasts, and provides insight into supply-demand shifts and regional pricing developments.
Cinzia Vezzosi graduated in Foreign Languages from the State University of Milan and in 1996 she entered OVERMET GROUP, where, as Board Member and Managing Director of one of the Companies of the Group, she first landed in the world of metal trading, metal recycling and waste procedures. In 2004 she founded ZETAMET, a company for metal trading on exclusive basis, and soon became a Member of ASSOFERMET (Italian Association of Metal Recovery and Recycling Enterprises). Since 2013 she is Member of the Price Commission for ferrous and non-ferrous metals at the Chamber of Commerce of Milan. She was elected President of ASSOFERMET METALS Division in 2015 and in 2016 joined EURIC Board as EFR President. She was EuRIC President from March 2019 to March 2022 and since April 2022 she sits in the Board of AIM (Italian Association of Metallurgy). She presently covers the role of Vice President in EuRIC, which has just recently rebranded with the new name of RECYCLING EUROPE, and in May 2024 she was elected President of ASSOFERMET.
He was born in 1969 in Istanbul. He graduated from Saint-Michel French High School in Istanbul. B.A. from Istanbul University Faculty of Economics English Economics in 1991. Same year he was accepted as an research assistant to the Istanbul University Faculty of Economics. He recieved title of associate proffesor in theory of economics when he was doing his military services in 1997, as a project officer in F-16 Tactical Aircraft Systems. Prof.Dr. Emre Alkin wrote books about risk management and financial institutions and he was on board of management and worked as consultant for several invesment companies. He became a professor in 2002. He participated in business development of Cukurova Holding, Anadolu Industry Holding, Dogan Holding and Altınbaş Holding in various sectors. Emre Alkin worked as economy commentator for TV Channels such as TV8, FOX, CNNTURK and CNBC-E and wrote columns for newspapers. Between 2000-2014 he was on a duty in Secretary General of Turkish Exporters Assembly, Member of National Tax Council, Secretary General of Federation of Captive Finance Companies, Secretary General of Turkish Football Federation and member of UEFA Marketing Committee. Today he is non-executive board member of Galatasaray Inc. Prof. ALKİN give lectures and also there are books written by himself in Turkish and English. He held various positions in GSM and Telecommunication, International Financial İnstitutions, Payment Systems, Energy and Iron-Steel Industry. Furthermore, He gives economy classes at the Kemerburgaz University and continues its mission as Vice President. He still takes part in international projects about payment systems and financial management. Today, Prof. Alkin is Columnist in the business newspaper DUNYA and have 2 best seller novel in Turkish about socio-economics and writes about new dimensions in the business life in various magazine. He has two sons and speaks French and English.
Kazuo Mike Fujisawa joined NKK Corporation in 1982 and has held management positions in sales, engineering and in an assistant role to CEOs. After NKK merged with Kawasaki Steel to create JFE Steel in 2003, he has held positions in the Corporate Planning Department and Overseas Business Planning Dept. He was on the committees and the Board of Directors of California Steel Industries from 2003 to 2016. He is the member of worldsteel’s Communication Committee and Economic Committee. He has spoken at a number of steel conferences around the world. Currently he is Principal, Global Business Development, JFE Steel Corporation.
Dr. Koray Günay currently serves as the Purchasing Director at Çolakoğlu Metalurji A.Ş. He holds a degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU), an Executive MBA from Işık University, and a Ph.D. in Marketing. Dr. Günay began his career at Borusan Mannesmann and has held various senior management positions in different departments at Çolakoğlu Metalurji since 1998.
Luciano GIUA is an Economist and Policy Analyst at the Steel Unit of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), where he has worked since 2020. His expertise lies in industrial policies and market distortions affecting the steel sector, including the analysis of state support measures, state-owned enterprises, excess capacity, and their broader economic implications.
After completing his high school education at the German High School, he graduated from Boğazici University with a B.S. in Electronics Engineering in 1989. Tansu Yegen started his professional career in 1991 at Digital Equipment. Between 1994 and 1998, he worked as the Marketing and Sales Manager at Hewlett Packard. In 1998, he was transferred to Microsoft Turkey, where he worked for seven years as the Deputy General Manager. From 2005 to 2007, he served as the General Manager of Apple Turkey. From 2007 to 2011, he held several positions at the largest mobile operator in Turkey, including CEO of Turkcell Ukraine and Germany and Board Member of Turkcell Belarus. he joined IBM in 2011 as the Country General Manager for IBM Global Business Services, followed by his position in 2013 as VP for Mobile Business in Samsung Electronics. In 2018, he joined UiPathand and worked as the Vice President of Europe, responsible for more than 120 countries. As of October 2023, he has maintained his position as Area Vice President for Central Europe, East Europe, and CIS at Amplitude, the leading digital analytics platform that helps companies unlock the power of their products. In 2008, Stevie Awards selected him as the most successful CEO in Europe. In 2019, he received an award from the President’s Office of Ukraine for solving the street children problem in Ukraine (Video below) In 2021, Mr. Yegen’s book “Shine Your Career and Business with 40 Tools” was selected as the Best Human Resources and Career Book of The Year. In 2022, he was named among the Top 10 Influential Businesspersons to Watch In the Middle East in 2023 by Entrepreneur Magazine.
He joined EMR immediately after graduating in 2003 and has been with the same company for over 22 years. He had his first 10 years with EMR UK, gaining experience across yard operations (2 years), logistics (2 years), documentation and LC handling (2 years), and pricing desk hedging operation (2 years). In 2013, he relocated to the US to lead EMR’s US commercial centralization project, overseeing central fulfillment, risk management, and commercial administration. In recent years, his focus has shifted toward ferrous market research and analytical development.
Mr. Dalbeler has been the CEO of Çolakoğlu Metalurji A.Ş. for many years. Mr. Dalbeler is also a board member of the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD); Vice Chairman of the Turkish Steel Exporters' Association (CIB) and Board Member of the International Rebar Exporters and Producers Association (IREPAS). Following his role as Vice Chairman of the World Steel Association (Worldsteel) for the 2024/25 term, he assumed the role of Chairman in October 2025.
Mr. Yayan got B.A. degrees from Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara University in 1977 and Faculty of Law of the Istanbul University in 1987. Then he got his PhD degree from the Istanbul University Faculty of Economics in 1997. Mr. Yayan has diplomas from University of Michigan on Economy of Development and Population; from the University of Sussex on Labor Market Information System and Japan Int. Coop. Agency on Development and improvement of Employment. Mr. Veysel Yayan started his career as Reporter at the Republic of Turkey, Ministry of Trade in 1976. Then he worked at State Planning Organization, as Expert and Undersecretariat of Defense Industries, as Head of Department, Deputy Undersecretary and Acting Undersecretary until he retired in 1998. After serving 22 years for government from expert to Undersecretary levels between 1976-1998, he was appointed as Secretary General to the Turkish Steel Producers Association in 1998. On 25 September 2017, Dr. Yayan was appointed as Undersecretary to Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. In August 2018, Yayan retired from government and returned to his position as Secretary General of Turkish Steel Producers Association. In addition to this position, Dr. Yayan has been the President of TOBB Ferrous and Nonferrous Metals Assembly since 2007.
