Steel Foreign Trade Association was established in 2017 by volunteers of the sector. Producers, exporters, importers, domestic market merchants, agents, transporters, researchers, publishers and professionals of the sector are gathered under the roof of this association. Reaching 140 members as a legal and real person, our Association is growing rapidly with the ownership of our esteemed sector members. After 1980’s Foreign trade was guidance for the development of each sector in Turkey. In such a matter of importance, the association has important duties and responsibilities. First of all, the biggest benefit of the association is that it brings together all the parties that make up the sector. This association will enable the representatives of the sector to look at the problems from a wider perspective and to approach the problems more comprehensively. Due to the current state of world trade, protectionism walls, obstacles, excess capacities, and economic crises, our association has embarked upon the first aim of developing sustainable export projects. In addition, our association aims to reflect on the development strategies for the iron and steel sector as it matures and to guide the structural changes that the sector needs to make according to the requirements of foreign trade.
